LEAP4Asian — Eating Disorder Awareness

Our purpose

Our Vision

LEAP4Asian envisions a future where the unique challenges faced by Asians affected by eating disorders are addressed with understanding, cultural sensitivity, and specialized support. Our mission is to raise awareness about the often overlooked prevalence of eating disorders within the Asian community and challenge the societal stigma tied to body image.

We are dedicated to bridging the gap left by traditional North American recovery approaches that may not account for cultural nuances. By offering a platform for open discussion and providing culturally informed resources for recovery, LEAP empowers individuals on their journey towards food freedom and body acceptance.
