Ivory Loh, RDN, MPH

Hi, I’m Ivory (MPH, RDN, cPT). I’m a weight-inclusive Registered Dietitian and certified Personal Trainer, who is passionate about supporting people in developing a nourishing relationship with food, movement, and their bodies. I currently work in Seattle, WA in my own private practice specializing in nutrition care for disordered eating and eating disorders and providing weight- and culturally-inclusive medical nutrition therapy for chronic disease prevention and management.

As a weight-inclusive dietitian, I strive to offer an inclusive space for folks to courageously explore patterns and origins of their disordered eating and exercise, as well as recover from body shame. I believe that our culture oppresses marginalized identities, elevates one’s worth based on appearance and productivity, and capitalizes on our rejection of body trust and intuition. Therefore, I can fully appreciate how disordered eating or exercise may have been strategies that folks have leaned on to tolerate stress and distress, strategies for survival and community.

My work centers on collaborating with those who are ready for a new solution - one that allows them to make peace with food, movement, and your body and reclaim pleasure and trust with their bodies. I specialize in eating disorders and disordered eating recovery, body image healing, and supporting disease prevention and management from a weight-inclusive lens. My approach to nutrition therapy is nonjudgmental, compassion-focused, and centered in Health-at-Every-Size. My work with clients is also informed by Intuitive Eating principles, social justice, an anti-oppression framework, Body Trust, and Internal Family Systems
