Aimee Zhang, Psy.D. (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY33557) with expertise in delivering evidence-based treatments to adults and adolescents. Prior to starting her private practice, she was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University. She received her B.A. in Psychology, with departmental honors and university distinction, from Stanford University and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. She completed internship at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr. Zhang has specialized training in the treatment of body image concerns and eating disorders, stress, mood, anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, and multicultural diversity. She also has experience working with clients on topics such as effective communication and interpersonal relationships, life transitions, identity, and grief/loss. She has provided individual and group treatment in general mental health clinics, specialty clinics in PTSD, eating disorders, and AAPI populations, and high school settings. Dr. Zhang is a bilingual clinician and can provide services in Mandarin. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Zhang has supervised graduate students and conducted research in the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based treatments, with a focus on increasing access to mental healthcare using technology. She has published her research in peer-reviewed journal articles and presented her work at national and international conferences.
